Women's Excursions Group explores Portland!

The women's Smooth Feather Excursions group spent an epic Saturday in Portland last month. They rode bikes along the coastline at Back Cove, to the beach on the Eastern Promenade, and into the city where they ate at a french restaurant! The restaurant served crepes with all sorts of unique fillings. One of the girls said, "I've always wanted to try duck." And guess what? There was a crepe filled with duck! They also toured the Portland Museum of Art and saw some amazing island-inspired sculptures and paintings. It was a great day, mixing adventure in the outdoors with some cultural experiences in the city.

I'm so proud of our film school students, actors, staff, supporters and the entire Kezar Falls community who helped make this film happen! We were incredibly inspired and humbled that our film "A Chance to Stand" received the Audience Choice Award at the Boston International Kids Film Festival! Pretty amazing :) Here are some fun pictures from the trip and a special thanks to all our awesome Smooth Feather Youth Patrons (www.patreon.com/smoothfeather) who made the trip to the bring lights of Boston possible.
